    President-elec Joe Biden chose Rep. Deb Haaland (D-N.M.) to serve as the first Native American Cabinet secretary and head the Interior Department. This is a great win for the environmental justice movement. I am hopeful that she will help to give voice to the communities that have been disproportionately impacted by the climate crisis.
